Matthias Truttmann

BIO

Matthias Truttmann is married to Ruth and is the leading pastor of the FCG Aarau (German part of Switzerland). In their youth they experienced a presence of God shaped by the Argentine revival, which never let them go. This fire, this longing for the glory of God is still burning in their hearts and is getting stronger and stronger in its effects. Healings and breakthroughs happen regularly in connection with their ministries in and through their church.

Matthias has the gift of encouraging, setting people free and creating a spiritual home.

Together with their four children, they live out the presence and power of the Kingdom of God in everyday life.

In Swiss German - short summary in English: 

He loves snowboarding, be it downhill or in deep snow, always using the same board. He likes having an ‘allround’ board that fits for all situations. 

In the same idea, he likes Swiss Army Knives, because they are real allrounders. There is even a story where they were used in space. An astronaut was missing the right tool to do some work and another one solved the situation by pulling his Swiss Army Knive out of the pocket. 

How great is it to be equipped for every situation. Paul also talks about it in the Bible: Philippians 4:12-13 

“I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.

13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength.”

This shows that we are also allrounders and equipped, no matter how the situation looks like.
